What should I do if I failed my online class?

Question

I just failed my online class.  I need to take this same online course again.  I need to retake my online class.

Answer

If you have failed one of our online classes, you must wait till the next month to re-register for the class. Since most online classes run from the first of the month to the last day of the month, you will need to wait till the first day of the next month before attempting to take the online course again. For example, if you take and fail an online course on April 14th, you will not be able to re-register for the same course until May 1st.

Some December classes are an exception to this rule. If you fail a mandated course (ex. Use of Force and De-escalation Options for Gaining Compliance) in December, you will be able to re-register for the course immediately. You will need to access the online course you failed, scroll to the bottom of the classroom page and click on the End of Course Instruction. This page will have a link to register for another December offering of the course.

Should you choose to repeat any online course due to failure, you must pay tuition to access the course. Tuition will be charged at the rate of $15 per credit hour.
